After installing Joomla 1.6, the default template installed is the Beez_20. If you installed the Sample Data, you will see a login / register form and Site Login & Site Administrator login link on the navigation sides of your website. If you don’t want people to register, login or see the site administrator login on your site you can remove them.
To Remove the Login Form:
1. Go to your Joomla 1.6 administrator backend.
2. Click on ‘Extensions’, ‘Module Manager’.
3. In the ‘Filter’ text box, type in ‘Login’. 3 results will return.

4. Use the checkbox to select them all, click on ‘Unpublish‘.
To Remove the Site login and Site Administrator login link:
5. Click on ‘Menus’, ‘Main Menu’
6. Using the checkbox, select these 2 menu items and click on ‘Unpublish’

Done! After you refresh your Joomla 1.6 site, you will not see the login/register form and the site login and site administrator links.
