Joomla 1.6 Help – Bulk Upload Image Error Message

New Feature in Joomla 1.6 is a flash bulk upload feature that you can use to upload more than 1 file at a time.  You will access your Media Manager options to setup the bulk upload feature.   If you are using any Joomla 1.6 versions below 1.6.3, you might get an error message after your bulk upload is complete:

“image file name – An error occured”

Although not a big problem because when you view the files in your Media Manager, you will see that the file in fact did get saved in your Joomla 1.6 website.  Just the message was wonky.  I recently upgraded to  Joomla 1.6.3 and don’t see this error message anymore.

  1. You can also use FTP to move your files to server. It´s quick and easy way. You can also move as many files as you like.
