3.1.1 Tutorial – You can choose to hide or show the Article Tags in the Articles. Currently my articles are defaulted to display my Article Tags. You can easily change the setting in the Options or in the Article itself to change the viewing option individually. If you change it at the article level, this will override any options in the Options.
Overview of How to Hide Article Tags in Articles
- Go to
- Click on Article Manager Options
- Go to Articles Tab
- Hide Article Tags in Articles
1. Go to Article Manager
Article Manager is where you manage all your articles. You can create, edit, delete, publish, unpublish and more articles from the Article Manager.
- Login to your 3.1.1 Administrator Backend
- Click on ‘Content’, ‘Article Manager‘
2. Click on Article Manager Options
Article Manager options is the global article options where you can change the settings of all articles with the setting of ‘Use Global’.
- Click on ‘Options‘
3. Go to Articles Tab
The first tab in the Article Managers Options is the Articles Tab:
- Click on ‘Articles‘
4. Hide Article Tags in Articles
Scroll down the Article options and you will find the option for Article Tabs. Just switch the option to Hide.
- Scroll down and find the option and set:
- Show Tags = Hide
- Click on ‘Save & Close’
Now you can view your Articles from the Frontend and you will not see your Joomla 3.1.1 article tags anymore.
