You worked hard on your Wordpress website and you should protect it from hackers.   The best way to prevent your website from being hacked is to make sure you keep your Wordpress version up to date.   The easiest Wordpress Security tip is Always install and update your WordPress and plugins to the latest version.    If you don’t know if your WordPress is up to date with the latest version, see the version here:

1.  Login to your WordPress administrator backend.

2.  Click on ‘Dashboard’, ‘Updates’

This page will show you if you need to update your WordPress version.  Further down the page is where you will see plugins that you need to upgrade.   It’s easier to use the checkbox to select all the plugins and do a mass update of all your plugins.
